Hi when i first saw this site before i looked at the posts ect i thought it was new because of the default layout it wasnt untill i came back and realised it was a n excelent forum.

Maybe make the layout a bit better with different buttons ect.

If needs be i can make a few for you but its totally upto you.

I have to admit, having 5 thread titles pulled out from the "Host Talk" section and put on the main page would make it a little better than it currently is.

Really having just a forum would make this place look better. The other part. I don't really care for. It just looks plain and ugly. Thats just my opinion.

Maybe in your opinion it was but im sure a good layout would make the forum much better.

Anyway, I seem to remember this being suggested before.

I've seen similar threads numerous times. I always make the same joke too "The 90's called, they want there design back." FWS keeps milking the same design from the 90's, I'm sure it's driven away many people in the past. If FWS wants to continue growing, it will make at the very least the main page a little more appealing. Perhaps add a forum skin or two, it isn't a lot of work. I'm sure FWS could hold a contest to design a new layout for the main page, that way it would be free.

Just my opinion.

The main page could use a little sprucing up, but the forums are fine. I couldn't see the forums any other way. It's simple and fast to load.

The homepage needs a redesign, badly.

I think a contest would be good. Even if it's free you'd still get entrants as it'd be a good portfolio piece.

Not that page rank has a lot to do with anything, but a PR7 aint too shabby for a plain looking homepage ;)

Page rank does not really effect how people look onto the webpage. You could have a page rank 10 site but with no good content it would be usuless. Thats why i suggested making it a little better.

How about a banner up at the top of the forum? I think that would help with the looks department.
