ParsGB is gone now. Their Admin has no respense yet, I think it is better to leave the hope that it will be back gain.

hello guys,
I am the owner of parsgb.com! :D
our website is not gone, it will be back very soon!
we are facing some problems like :
1. our server got attacked by a professional hacker team, but all they did was to damage our server!
2. our team is an iranian team and that caused us some problem regarding the servers because as you know iran is trying to do some necluer power things and we are bann from using the servers.
we are getting these problems fixed and we will be back soon with more power.
thanks

hello,
we have tried our best to secure the server and pro people from hostgator.com have secured our servers and checked everything. I said we are 99.99% secure cuz there is always a way where people can hack in to websites so there is nothing 100% secure.
thanks

This time, this host is not down completely, just the mysql, FTP, cpanel, billing (iPanel). Only PHP and Apache are still running. They are really an unreliable host!
They're fast at everything:
- fast signup (instant activation)
- fast server
- fast support
- fast to be down (like now and before)
I think i need to change to another host...
I hope they can be back ASAP, my site is there and i can't do anything with it (nothing left except PHP and Apache).

hello,
I am sorry to announce that parsgb will come back in 2-3 month!
these are the several reasons that why parsgb.com will be back in two month :
1.a service like parsgb.com is hard to manage
2.it needs more than 2-3 servers to start
3.our service is ads free and that cause us to not earn money!
4.we need pro people to manage our servers
5.we need to be able to be touch to our servers in order to give a better service
6.we need to stop people from spaming (once we stoped our mail server and it cause so many problems for our users)
now here is what our group is planning :
we are trying to get some people to manage our server or get our server from a datacenter like iweb.com which is one of the best worlds datacenter.
in that case we dont need to worry about our user spamming through our servers, we wont get hack, and ...!!! so all we are planning is to provide a better service because we know that our users deserver the best quality. so we will be back but not soon but we will be back with POWER!!
thanks, ParsGB Group.

hello,
ok, first of all thanks for your nice complement
he said they're honestly "Sh*t!"
a free hosting company like parsgb.com need a real big team and to honest with you all, we were not!!! we had 3 servers which cost us 4x379!!!! we had about 5000 users in one and a half week!
the first problem that come up is :
instant activation : we first wanted to review each user and then let them sign up, but that takes alot of time and wouldnt make the users happy, so the accounts were created instantly! now some users were using our services properly but some other were :
1.using a nulled script like VB which cause so many problem
2.phishing sites
3.proxy sites
4.spamming
5.adult
6....
we used to recieve about 100 complains a day from our datacenter about these websites, and our server went down many times because of proxy sites and ...
now if our users were using our service properly, would any thing bad happend to our servers???
50% of the problems were from our side, but the other half were from our users sides.
but we will be back with the same thing or even a bit better (support will be better + and hope fully our servers will be 99.XX up!) and with new look and everything.
thanks, ParsGB Group.

I'd much rather keep reliable service, and a small wait for activation, than making everyone happy in the beginning, but letting them down like you have in the long run.
Some people need to realize this is free service, and it can take time. You don't have to make anyone happy. They're lucky they're getting free service from your pocket.

Let me have my contributions on this... As Jan mentioned in this thread or on one of the hundreds ParsGB thread here, make a business plan! You should outline what you need to do to avoid situations like hacking a website, server etc. If you have an instant activation FREE hosting, then you should be expecting these to happen.
Again, start a business plan buddy. Be more professional this aint a game to the people you are hosting.

4th language or not, when putting up a business that targets English speaking clients, there is no excuse.

It happened to us aswell, since we recently introduced instant activation. Its a good advertising point to make though. I'm just customizing our script to try and prevent this.

How are you going to afford your servers if you don't use ads? You rich? You are the host, you can change your policy anytime if you have a disclaimer in your TOS. Don't pander to those who don't want to help you succeed. If they don't want ads, then tell em to go elsewhere.

ok, here is how we afford the money of the servers :
parsgb.com is not a website where its planned to earn money for our group, its where our user or the world stop paying for hosting (atleast paying for 1G shared hosting) and we did not and are not planning to earn money from it. ParsGB is a group and not a company and we earn money from our other websites and put all the money in to parsgb.com because non of us (founders of ParsGB) need the money from parsgb network!!!

10K for a server?! Are you serious or just showing off? (april fools?) Are you buying a physical server? You know you have better and more affordable options than that... You're paying for the electricity and internet connection? Are hosting it in your basement or something?
If that is your plan, you really need to go back to the drawing board and re-write your plan because that is not right for a Free Hosting Provider..

I am not showing off!! I am just saying this is one of my plans, we had a high traffic on the first week of our site going up and we had about 2500, 3000 users signing up and it was increasing so fast, we need a real powerfull server so it doesnt go down everyday!!! if you remember our server used to go down once every day and we dont want that happen again, so we first asked a range of price from rackspace.com and they told us that they can give us 80GB with 2.8CPU for 400 so we thought its better to buy a server rather than renting one, so we contact dell company and they gave us that price.
now we might buy that server or go for a server in iweb.com!!! we are not sure yet!!!

So you will buy a 10K worth of server and host it at home? If yes, have you plan what will be the speed of your dial-up i mean ADSL? Will you be using an ADSL line, Cable or SHDSL? What will be your bandwidth limitation from your ISP per month? What if someone accidentally trip over your power cord in your room and cut the power, will your server still be up? You should consider these since you're getting 3 people signing up 3,000 accounts everyday I mean since you are getting 3K sign ups everyday..
Geez... You're screws are loose mate.. You need to learn more about servers and hosting before you provide one for free.. another tip from me..

It doesn't matter, that is the reason you're now OOS. You should stick with your business plan, no matter what the complaint.
They need to keep in mind you're doing them the favor by giving free hosting, and the least they can do is place an ad.
