We are trying to install Ray and Dolphin on www.ourchatspace.com

Dolphin requires

MySQL 4.1 and higher,
ImageMagick (for photos upload) or GD Library as alternative,
SOX (for audio upload),
SendMail or Postfix,
Cron (Shell access (SSH) or other access to setting Cron Jobs required). Otherwise we will not be able to install Dolphin properly.

Ray will be installed at jerseycoastradio.com plus ourchatspace.com

Ray requires a dedicated
php 4.0+
MySQL 3.23+
web server apache 1.3
OS - Linux/Windows/Other
JRE 1.5 (Java Runtime Environment) and SSH access (root access to install media server)

We have the following dedicated server
AMD64 Sempron 2800
(64bit capable)
1GB RAM
80GB
100M bite line is shared
Unmetered transfer

We need someone who can help us install this software along with some of the 3rd party software it requires if we do not have it on our server. We are willing to compensate for your time if necessary. If anyone can help us out, please PM us with a quote for the installation.

Hi Pat, do you mean the community and widgets?

If it's not a rush job I can probably help you out, if it is a rush then I hope someone else can :) (rush as in yesterday would be nice)

Let me know if you want the help for a small fee LOL - or a large one even ;) Sure we could work something out.

Well I hired Midwest (Steve) but he has not installed the software. We paid him $50 to install it in a night. He said he would install it 2 days ago, he has not installed it yet. He took my money and ran!

Well the job was bigger then he expected I guess? The person I work for offered him $50 expecting that he would have it done sooner as we stated to him, but he seemed very impatient.

Seems with that info that it was a very unthought out offer by mid then, as in they didn't even know what they would be installing ...

Steve (midwesthosting) is not replying to my e-mails, PMs or MSN messages. In this case, I advice all customers looking to purchase services from him to think again, because at this point, I seem to be scammed.

Midwest, Don't Capitalize Every Word That You Type It's Very Annoying To Read And It Doesn't Make You Look Professional.

Steve, message for you.

You told me it would quote "take a few hours" and "I will have it finished by the end of the night" on Monday. No responses and no updates is unacceptable. For one, when you get paid, I would imagine you would be patient for the customer. You never gave us your payment info as we asked, so how would we be able to pay you. If this is how you wish to run your business as a nonresponding keep the customer guessing what is going on business, then feel free to do so. I would have accepted it if you has told me you were working for 4 days on server transfer, but you told me nothing. I will be contacting another person who replied to this topic regarding installation. I should have included "I need someone who is willing to work with the customer"

Obviously you must have read one word in that statement. As I said, you called the station manager and he said "$50.00" The fact that you agreed was the deal, I never said that you asked for $50.

Thanks again to all posters, please post again if you are still interesting in helping us install RAY and Java Runtime Environment
