It's nothing to do with opera, I've got the latest version of opera and animated images are fine and it owns firefox in every single way.

Try right clicking and reloading images, maybe your cache only loaded the first frame because you stopped loading or something?

hmm.. may be you right bud..
or may be you can test with single gif animation file.

ex: you have one gif animation file in drive "c:\sample.gif". Try to execute it with your browser. (put "c:\sample.gif" in your url address browser). if it not work, may be something wrong in yours :)

  :evilb: :evilb: <== because these babes always dancing in this browser (opera 7.21 and opera 8.54 :D )

Weird stuff, all gifs are animated for me now again and I haven't changed any settings.

If you have problems this info (http://www.hyperorg.com/blogger/mtarchive/animated_gifs_not_working_chec.html) might help you.

Clicking a smiley (IE: on phpBB's post reply/thread view) you may notice they stop after clicking on them... maybe that's what happened? Or maybe some javaScript got in their way?

Now it's starting to get weird, some of the red bananas are dancing while some are not.

All the rest are working fine though.

That's what happens to me too sometimes. Is it the same images as I mentioned previously:

Seems like the red bananas are not dancing for me in FF on my notebook. The rest are still being animated though.

Anyway internalx, I am glad that you managed to fix your problem. :)
