Having noticed alot of free hosting requests with the title free hosting for ipb2.2
I have been thinking , the op should have to validate his license with the moderators/admin to make sure it is valid Before ANY offer is made

Any thoughts on this?

In my opinion, it should be the host's responsibility to check.

Depending on the amount of such requests FWS gets, it might prove too troublesome for the staffs to check. Wouldn't this also require the staffs to check for every single request that has a paid software in it?

Yup I know you're talking about the free requests, but as people have mentioned before, there is a chance that people use paid scripts on free hosting because they cannot afford hosting after they purchased the script.

It's actually quite a good idea, but it will make the staffs even more busy. ;)

IPB won't verify them now which is why I never ask for verification.

Aww, why isn't IPB verifying the licenses anymore? Due to privacy?

It should be the host that checks and they shouldn't be cheeky to ask for free hosting after buying IPB - so good possibility it's not paid for!!
