I think your budget is too low, but I'm not an expert in shoutcast pricing. I'd suggest you talk to Steve from midwest streaming. He'll probably respond to this.

Well, Ive had two resellers now in that range, so I assumed theres more companies out there with those ranges..

You will find it difficult to get a SHOUTcast Reseller with that many slots for your budget.

Im sure you have had plans like this that is why you are posting for another,Cause someone that offers this is overselling And there service was no good Correct? $15.00 I Can offer You,64 Kbps 100 Slot's,Move up as you go But i would recomend you consider the bandwith cost of what you asking for

Atleast raise it to $30 to even think about getting an offer

That price that requirement - no chance.

2000 slots raise it to about $4000 / 5000

Your looking for a radio station that you can sell others.

to be honest , buy cast control license and then buy hosting which alows this.
Then you can sell radios and radio resellers :)

2000 slots * 128kbps = 256000 kb / s = 31.25 MB / second

1 hour = 3600 seconds = (3600 * 31.25) = 112500 MB / hour = 110 GB / hour
1 day = 24 hours = (24 * 110) = 2640 GB / day
1 month = 30 days = (30 * 2640) = 79200 GB / month = 77 TB / month

77 Terabytes is what 2000 slots at 128kbps would use if all the slots would be filled up 24/7 for the whole month.

Do you see any non-shoutcast host offering 77 TB for 1-15$/mo? Nop.

As Decker said, your requirements cost a few thousand dollars.
Your best solution is to get your own dedicated server with a 100mbps connection and install the required software to make shoutcast work on it.

Im saying I wnat option of 128 kpbs, not all users will use that most will use 64.

Im saying I wnat option of 128 kpbs, not all users will use that most will use 64.

Do the math.

2000 slots * 64kbps = 128000 kb / s = 15.625 MB / second

1 hour = 3600 seconds = (3600 * 15.625) = 56250 MB / hour = 54.93 GB / hour
1 day = 24 hours = (24 * 54.93) = 1318.32 GB / day
1 month = 30 days = (30 * 1318.32) = 39549.6 GB / month = 38.6 TB / month

Thats 38TB bandwidth per month if all slots are connected, seeing as you only get around 33TB on a dedicated 100mbps connection, your need something bigger.

And seeing as a dedicated unmetered 100mpbs connection costs around $1,500, you wont get it for $15...

In your own advert - http://www.vennexmedia.com/page8.html - or do you just lie in your own sig?

Edit - page for link removed - you removed the page - Suspicious - I think so......

Maybe you rely on others to provide what you promise?

You need to get a dedicated server or VPS.

I retract my post earlier , Get a vps that allows shoutcast then purchase cast control and your there. Watch though as cc eats up bucket loads of bandwith and cpu

*Just seen Hosting-Shack's post i agree a cps is needed
