fastmail.fm is real nice too, but they have a 30day inactivity on free accounts I believe.

Can't really beat gmail, or yahoo with a stick though. I would do what decker suggested and go with gmail as I don't think they have an inactivity policy?

You still get ads but it's pretty slim with the service on gmail, no point in looking for another at the moment for that type of service.

Could it be requester is looking for more than just e-mail?

AOL is bouncing more mail than ever, unless your with AOL - grabbing market share.

Buy a domain and get Google Apps. :p You can then have any name you want.

The mail is free, and you can do more with the domain.

NO INACTIVITY

Please, do anybody know of such a thing.
I cannot buy a domain right now. I need a free service.

NO INACTIVITY

That's all you have to provide in exchange for a free e-mail service, it's not much to ask is it?

What is so hard about logging in to check your email once every 30 days?...geez

If you are not going to check your email in that long, why do you even need an email account? :tired2:

Same here, because I check mine every day... and I have at least 4 I get in my inbox. GMail hardly puts spam into your inbox anyway. (I get at least 50 in my bulk/spam folder a day otherwiswe.)

Gmail hosted :)

1 - Get a cheap domain (yourname.info) (go with godaddy, it's easy and they offer free DNS services)
2- Register at http://www.google.com/a/
3- Add the google mx records to your domain
4- Enjoy free mail accounts from google with your new domain :)

Dude, if you seriously needed something and where a desporado, id buy a domain for free.

Not to mention, AOL gives you a domain for email for free! Why settle with some **unknown** co.?

The idea about a free domain and Google apps is the best I think.
