ok , im finally getting a domain :) but i need a register with the above ^ . Also how would I host my domain on my Win2k/Apache server :confused:

Easiest way is to register it with mydomain.com or zonedit.com's nameservers and use IP pointing to your server. You would create your subdomains on the DNS host's servers. Some registrars allow DNS management too. You would have to check what your registrar offers.

There is no reason to tie your domain registration to your DNS management. With sites like mydomain.com and everydns.net among others, you can register your domain where you want and use free nameservers to do your "subdomain delegation" if you prefer.

ok , i got everything i want with mydomain.com's Plus package. 1 more question , how long does it take for a GoDaddy domain to b activated ?

i dunno about activation. But it typical take up to 72 hours to propogate thru the dns servers

ok , its been activated and ive changed my nameservers , I thought it was 24 hours for new nameservers to take affect :confused:
