View Full Version : Evolution Webhosting - My recommendation for great webhosting

Hello all, my name is Josh and I recently purchased web hosting from Evolution web hosting and all I've got to say is.. Damn.

Thinking because I bought a cheap $15 a month plan,I thought the people over at Evolution Web hosting wouldn't be of much help when it came to support.
So i tested my theory by contacting a support admin via their live support option. I then told them about my plan and what I was looking to do with my website. The person then helped me figure out cpanel and the MySql database's.

See, there are some things that most web hosts include like pre-installed Php,MySql, but thats all they include. Not like Evolution Web hosting, after purchasing a plan you get cpanel with Fantastico Auto Installer which lets you install content management systems along with like 40 other things to build your site with.

My site (www.overactiveguild.com/guild) has been up for about 2 months now, and I have never had ANY down time. I'm able to FTP anything I'd like to my website, anytime I'd like because their FTP server is Always up, And besides Its not like I have to worry about space because Evolution Webhosting includes 18 Gigabytes of space, and like 320 Gigabytes of Bandwidth.

Well thats about it,
But If i were to Rate Evolution Webhosting I'd give it a 10 out of 10
for supreme quality, support, up time, and Webhosting.

he's been with them 2 months and he looks to be hosted on t heir servers. whats viral or bogus about it?

um i just felt it was necessary to let the hosting community know a good web hosting company - I came on here just like all of you to find a hosting company - So I thought that It was my duty to post something to help people choose a good web hosting company.

what is down? - i was doing some maintenance on my guild's website if thats what you meant.

The site loaded quick enough, so that's a good sign they aren't overloading their servers :)

Do you have any kind of uptime monitoring for your server superjosh? I know your site is just a hobby site, but for people looking for a new web host, uptime is a really important factor to most.

Well i check my site daily and I haven't seen it down unless I'm updating it. But no I don't have any monitoring software - but it has not been down =D

I just can't get why the host is advertised on the client's site. Is it free hosting?

I advertise my host because i felt it neccessary to promote great hosting - Just like i'm doing now with posting this, And it is not free hosting.

Cant someone do something nice once and a while??
