I had a friend who was part of our company who managed the servers and he is on a vacation to south africa for the next just under a month. So i need some recomendations on some management companies.
Ill only need these services for a short time till my friend is back and i am willing to pay good money.
One of The servers currently has an exploit blocking httpd starting and we will need this fixed asap so anyone who is willing to name companies it will be much too kind
thanks

Hello,
I recommend Tech4Server see the url in my sig. They are pretty darn good, they help all my consulting clients I have that require a managed solution.

Well not sure if rack911.com is taking any clients right now cause of his new job he got now.
Plus try http://www.jonesolutions.com/services.html currently using them, have been ok so far to figure out issues.
got-management.com i heard is good too.
Do not go with PSM, but than again thats just my opinion.
cheers

I don't think these have been mentioned : touchsupport & acunett both have great reputations.

:shame: Don't use Platinumservermanagement.com
I am currently with them and came across this thread in search of another service.
First of all their ticket system is horrible!
They say that they can not look at closed tickets.
Yet I can reopen them.
Even though I know problems are related they tell me I need to submit a new ticket, then they don't know what was going on before.
Here is the worst thing... they give (what I call) bandaid responses.
They respond to the ticket even though I gave them a method to test the error, and ask me to test it after they try one thing.
A few months ago I was happier with the service, but now all it seems that the want to do is burn through all their open tickets.
I wish it wasn't a saturday night, I would rather pay one of my regular techs $175 an hour to really fix the problem.

For $30/month, what do you expect?
I was going to say the exact same thing. When will people finally REALISE that in life you get what you pay for?
