Whatever you do, don't use spacetowns.com
Their service was really good at first, no ads or anything. Then one day, I went to visit my site and found it to be unavailable and I can no longer log into my account, it's gone. They won't even tell me what I did wrong. I did not violate any rules or anything, my site was clean and it just had poetry, quotes and other stuff on it. I'm so mad.. good thing I had backups of most of my files. Geocities is better than this. At least they don't delete your accounts. I mean I have my sites up from two years ago that I forgot about. UgH!!

We should believe you or the Spacetown's version (the last one doesn't exist..anyway). I'm with the simple people, so I believe you! Send them an email, write it in their forums. They'll give you some kind of answer.

Hmm... Well, I'm guessing you already got in contact with whatever support they offer? :confused2

Why not just sign up again, with a slightly different name, and perhaps a different email address and start all over again.

Hmm, you have a right to complain though, if:

a) You didn't break any of their rules.

b) They can't give you a proper reason.

belgiumdude.. quotes and poetry IS a personnal site.
I don't want to sign up for another account just to get banned again. I'm just warning other people to be careful. I've posted a message on their boards a few days ago and haven't gotten a reply. I know this happened to several others again. I read the message boards once in a while and I saw that someone posted a message asking to delete an account and that account was deleted, the person supposedly had the same message board name as homepage name but they never know, someone could easily get a message name that is the same as someone else's site name and ask to have it deleted. That's ridiculous. Ugh, I'm so mad! Don't trust spacetowns!
