Is it possible to take a plesk backup and convert it to a cPanel back up? Currently my host switch from a cPanel server to a Plesk server and I would like to move back to a cPanel host.

Can it be done with out loosing any data?

To my knowledge, someone correct me if im wrong, but i havent seen a utility that will allow you to do this. Your other option of course would be to unpack the plesk backup and restore it manually via ftp.

Its actually not a utility that you would use. Depending on the type of of file you have (ie .zip, .tar.gz) you should be able to open it with a utility such as winrar and then upload the files via a ftp client (filezilla is a freebie) then manually restore the databases via phpmyadmin.

I think you have misunderstood them, what the mean is they do not know of anything that does what you need.
