I searched the Plesk forums and found this thread (http://forum.plesk.com/showthread.php?threadid=2272&highlight=subdomains) that should be helpful.

You set them up just like you'd set up domains. When you enter a subdomain, enter it in the exact form:
subdomain.domain.com
(you can check the www box if you want to be able to access it via www.subdomain.domain.com and subdomain.domain.com as well).

Hi,
Plesk can't tell the difference between a sub and a real domain so most hosts that use it will ask that admin set up the subs for the client.
That's unless you are a reseller that can set up unlimited domains....

Why do you say that? You're entitled to your opinion but you don't have to be so offensive. And how is this post related to the topic.
I also notice that you are promoting that host with a different domain over at WHT and questions have been raised. Getting free hosting?

And, thats=that's and plesk is a name so requires capitalisation, Plesk. :D

Actually plesk is great, don't let the GUI turn you off.

Plesk 1.0 was horrible... I've heard good things about 2.0 though.

And now there's PSA 2.5. :)

What does Plesk 1.0 look like?
Bruce

Plesk 1.0 had the same interface, but it was buggy and had a lot less features than the current version does.

I think you can just modify the .htaccess file.

Plesk does not. I don't think Ensim does either, but I'm not positive on that.

It's the most secure and stable cp available. It still lacks in the features area though...

I don't like Plesk

Plesk is just a tool that makes up part of the hosting job. The most important features at a host are support, uptime, speed and reliability. Yes, Plesk lacks installed featured. But that's why it's so stable.
All the features it lacks are available elsewhere on the net for free if you really need them.

ive got version 2.5 for plesk still have found out subdomains ill ask my host later to set 1 up for me, ive asked him to upgrade to cpanel but he said it was expensive and that he thought of it b4 i guess some hosts dont like to spend money but it helps me get my site up and server is fast and support is excellent

I dislike Plesk as well. There are no backup tools (for the admin, but not for resellers and clients), no easy way of doing subdomains like you can with ensim (ensim needs to be modified, but at least you can do it).

Plesk is also good because it doubles as a reseller CP aswell!

Well CPanel has WHM for resellers.
