How often do you update your pc?

I updated my pc twice last year. I will be updating it again this year at some point.

Add an extra Gig of memory, new GP Card, and swap the AMD Athlon 3500+ for a FX.

Only if I have enough money. A gig of DDR1 RAM for me will cost 130 USD alone to install.

At most twice a year.

The system I have now is a 3.0Ghz Dual Core with 3GB of Ram, 250GB hard drive, and 256MB Video Card. I'm pretty set for now until at least the end of '08.

Hi,

Yeah it depends on an overhaul or an upgrade. I just did an overhaul to an 5200+, 2gB memory and a 8800GTS a few months ago after 2 years of no upgrades.

I usually perform smaller (and single) upgrades like GFX cards, Hard drives, etc maybe once a year.

Best wishes

Once every two years or so. i don't use it for much, so I don't need a very fast machine. In all honesty, this machine will probably last me another 1.5 years at the rate of the things I do on it [I never game]

AMD 64 Athlon 3800+, 1.5gb RAM, 2x120gb HDDs, geforce 6800 oc Not very good by todays standards, but more than enough for what I use it for. Would like to get a bigger HDD soon though.
