For example , I have a website ( Joomla ) in hosting A ,and now I want to move it to hosting B . How can I back up and restore everything ( contents , images , files , databases ..... ) from hosting A to hosting B .
I used backup + restore in Cpanel 11 and I downloaded the backup archive file in hosting A. When I try to restore it in hosting B, the website is not up . No error , the files are all the same position just different hosting .
Anyone can tell me step by step how to do so ?

Download a full site backup, and then contact your host, they will be able to restore the full sute backup, restoring all your data exactly as it was before.
Or just give the new host your old login at your existing host, they will be able to move your account via WHM.

Directly contact your new hosting company and give them ur previous host user name and password. And they will do it completely for u:wave:

Not all hosts will do that [for free or even paid]. I'd go with what Richard said if they don't provide that service.

oh, since it's joomla, you can use an extension called "JoomlaPack" i've tried it, it will generate a .zip file and you just need to transfer that .zip file and extract it via cpanel in your new server. you just need to run an update file included in the .zip file and in less than a minute you're done!
