A Computer Forum

I was thinking you could add an extra forum. One where we could all post errors with our computer; system manipulation, information/questions about programs and so on.

Then instead of using GD for it; there'd be a specific forum... Well, I think it's a pretty decent idea.

Yeah I suggested that at another forum once. It wouldn't be used too often, but it is a great idea. One of those things that just don't fit elsewhere.

I have no objections to a computer help type forum but I do object to the NLC forum idea. I once had the same idea and considered it and my conclusion was that it would only increase the amount of people who spam so they can belong to the NLC members forum. I may be wrong but I don't think I am.

In order to connect to freewebspace.net you need a computer! If that breaks, you can't connect. It is all a part of what we all do here, and lots of people have problems, maybe not you Roly, but there have been MANY times people have had issues with their computers and need help from fellow geeks.

Maybe...but if we're gonna look at it that way, the only forum we would be able to have is the free space section, and not all the other informative forums. And I know for a fact that YOU post at a lot of those other forums, roly...

I hate locking threads in general but even more so in the Site Feedback forum. I think it's a decent idea and locking this thread may very well stop the idea from happening so let's keep it on topic.

Anyway, I PM'd Peo, but he didn't reply yet (or make the new forum). So hopefully, something regarding that will happen soon. I think it's a good idea (go me ;)) and would be used frequently.

Do you want a new board (i.e. another place to post apart from General Discussion here) or do you want a new forum (an entire new collection of boards)? If you've been talking about the former all along you've made some very strange comments that you might want to explain, such as "[b]ut then it would be very strange to see a new forum with post counts super low" and "which BB is going to be used, since Peo only has 1 licence [sic] for vb."

I'm against the idea regardless. No new board, no new forum, no new nut'n. I'm happy just the way things are. :)
