I have a problem with WHMcs, maybe someone can help. When i try to setup a client
via WHMcs, the clients domain is not setup in WHM, and this is what i see in the activity log.

Automatic Setup of Account on Order Failed (A DNS entery already exists for this domain and must be deleted first)

This really does not make since, as the clients domain
was set to the correct nameserver...

any ideas?

Yes that means that there is a entry that exists on that server and must be removed before it can be readded. If this is WHM, Look under DNS FUNCTIONS -> Delete a DNS Zone and then you have to options you can type in the domain. Or select if from the table on the right.

Hi,

If you are using a previous outdated beta (I think it is -2 versions from current), Matt told me that there is (was) a bug that has problems creating the domain records - however I would go with that XSIS-HOST said - deleted the zones in WHM and try it again.

Best wishes

Thanks, I do see the domain in the DNS zone.. I am wondering now
why this was not deleted when the domain was deleted from
WHM accounts.

I will try this now, to see if it works.

Yeah that normally happens when that domain has been entered on the server already and its either A still in use or deleted from the server but for some reason the zone didnt get deleted.

Did you submit a ticket to WHMCS? Matt is pretty good at answering tickets quickly.
