Right, i've nearly done doing the user system on the new CMS i'm doing and decided for my next project on it, i'm going to add a post to host system. I've decided only to do 2 forums, which ones shall I pick?
Thanks,
Jonny.

MyBB and vBulletin? They both seem to be becoming more popular now.

Ok, myBB will be a definate. Ermm...it's either phpBB, vB or IPB. If changing forums is simple enough i'll do them all :P

At the same time so does IPB. Once I get settled with a good place I am putting back our IPB. I would say IPB, and myBB both good.

IPB is childs play. vBulletin is for grownups.

If it is possible jonny, i would try and add as many as possible, these guys are right, IPB is good too, but if you need two to go with at the start, mybb and vB mean you present both a decent free and paid option. I wont get into why i dont like phpbb now, but for one thing its just so commonplace, i actually prefer boards that don't use it.

If it is as simple as just changing a few tables, and rows. I could do them all. This really is going to be a project in its self and may not be out for months now.
Thanks for the comments guys.

by the way Jonny, if you need to have access to a vB board to test on/integrate etc... the vB lisence states that you are allowed to upload a second copy of your script for purely development purposes - in other words you are welcome to use mine, just pm me if you need :)

If you have the money for it just get IPB, you won't regret it.
