serius error, internet (urgent)

Ok, I got a mega prob needs fixing fast.

Internet Explorer cant update etc.
Msn doesn't work etc.

I unistalled IE, and installed it again didnt work.
This is what its shows:

Please tell me how to fix it fast and another browser isnt and option I need it fixed. :wave:

Seems like an infection to me by a virus or worm. (resulting in a browser hijack)

Just run cleaning tools like ad-aware, Spybot S&D, virus scan etc.

If you can't find out what the problem with these tools, you might want to run the HijackThis program. (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php#hijackthis) It will find the problem !

I would check also the hosts file to see if somehow hotmail.com is being redirected to that Shanghai High School website.

I have the sorta same issue,i can sign in using messenger and firefox but IE tells me i have no connection.....This only happens when i try to sign into hotmail but i can keep surfing the web fine with IE

Its ok,microsft have updated IE settings and are having issues with anything linked to Microsoft including Hotmail
