Got owned

I was developing software for a little company, basic business spreadsheets n so forth... most devastating thing happened @!#!@#!@ cant get over it, I WORKED ON THE PROGRAM for over 10 hours, 10 hours and my computer (Core 2 Duo + other goodies) FRIED, couldn't access my hard drive, went to my local computer shop to find out that my hours worth of work went down the drain... gotta start all over again.. Is there any way at all to retrieve the files from the Hard drive

If your hard drive doesn't boot at all.. or run now more.. it is very hard to get it.. its its just corrupted.. try using Get data back..

Take the disk out of the machine get a USB external drive housing and see if you can access it on another machine first.
