Anyone used cent5s built in Virtualization to create VPS yet?, any good?.

I tried it, Didn't like it, Formatted my server, Got CentOS 4 and got OpenVZ. Much better.

It works really well but most don't like it because you can't oversell it :) We use it some on RHEL 5.
And yes, it is XEN.

No we have not tried the built in virtualization in CentOS5 primarily because it uses Xen.

Before we implemented a VPS system we tried a few different virtualization methods, including Xen and OpenVZ. We selected OpenVZ due to it supperior performance. OpenVZ does have the limitation of not supporting Windows operating systems. Howerver, we did not feel we could be competitive selling Windows/Xen VPS servers due to the fact you are required to use a different Windows license for each VPS. I am eagerly awaiting the new version of OpenVZ, which will support the Windows OS.
