Someone telled me 2co. is good. But if im not wrong, its not a free service. They charge to you about $40.

Well if paypal (don't blame you here) egold, and moneybookers is out then you will find no good payment processor thats free.

Yes 2checkout is $49 dollars one time fee. but is very well worth it. They accept the most broad ways of payments for your clients. Currently they have credit cards, offline and online checks, and now atm over ip (internet). They are also going to be integrating paypal as a way to get paid using there system especially for those who either hate dealing with paypal or cant.

So this is a great package. Other credit card merchants start any were from $75 up $200 to open and then you pay monthly fees.

I want to know if this is really true.
That paypal years ago, exposed client's financial information on the internet.Thats why the client dont want paypal.

I actually had a bad experiences with them as well. Theres not much protection for us digital guys once again...

You wont find any protection for digital no matter were you look. Thats why theres so much problems with the scams. How do you prove you gave a digital good, and not someone else? You cant and thats why theres no protection.

Us digital guys must relay on the honestly of our clients. Which we all know is shrinking anymore.

Fee savings in 2008 and beyond
Beginning January 1, 2008, when you use Google Checkout™ to process your sales, you'll only be charged a low 2% + $0.20 per transaction. If you're an AdWords advertiser, you will also be eligible for free credit card processing for some or all of your Google Checkout sales.

2CO is crap!

I'm thinking of phasing it out completely.

They require confidential client information when you receive payments so I told them where they can stick their phone call!

Personally, I have not had a bad experience with PayPal, paymate. But Moneybookers are a joke and I don't know, I just really don't trust E-Gold.

2checkout does this to insure you and them are safe. As they sell your products on behalf of you, they call only a random select fee during your first 3 months (starting phaze) and then if you have massive increase or decrease in sales they do a random call.

These calls are just to make sure your providing the service you claim to. As 2checkout does not release funds until the service is provided to the client, this protects the client, yourself and 2checkout.

Its a fair policy for alot of people who dont want to spend $100+ to get a gateway like internet secure etc.
