Macbeth is a really hard play to study. Well it is when you haven't got a proper teacher anyway.

I am reading Othello for my IB english class... also another very difficult play to understand by Shakespeare. But my teacher does real well in explaining it.

Well, I know some teachers explain it a lot better than others. They don't it on purpose. I just guess some people understand different teachers than others.

You know, if you're an actor, saying the word MacBeth is supposed to be very unlucky. I've said MacBeth before to some of my friends who are aspiring actors...they yelled at me, and there's some weird process you have to do to make things better.

I stuffed it. I knew my lines really well; but I said it too quickly and without putting too much expression into it :cry2:.

Being on camera is way easier.

It is...kinda. We got to do retakes. And effects are much easier as we can just pause, change something, and keep shooting. The bad side is that if you mess up, people see it over and over and over again. (In my case in a scene where I was killed in my bed, I was sleeping in one position, then I changed when the camera panned back to me, and it got picked up by blooper afficianados)

I get nervous just readout a paragraph out of a textbook aloud infront of my class.
I refuse to do speeches and such, so I usually get about a 50% in all oral aspects of my report card...

Something seriously wrong there...
I get nervous publicly speaking and I'm incredibly shy but I usually do quite well during oral presentations and speeches in class.
It's not right to refuse to talk... you'll never get anywhere in life like that :p

Well, actually, I do really REFUSE to do it, I just put it off to the last minute, and I mean LAST minute. So the mark usually stays the same. :biggrin2:

Yeah, in King Lear, there's TWO of them...
For the record, King Lear is Shakespeare's greatest.
