Since my old computer (mobo or cpu) died, and I didnt have enough for a full blown upgrade, I decided to get a transition mobo (agp, ddr1) with support for the latest intel cpu's.
Problem is in the system properties window, it says the cpu is a 2.31ghz one, instead of the 2.4ghz advertised.
Mobo's bios options are all set to 'optimized defaults' and I didnt touch any overclocking options.
Is it normal that the reported speed is lower? or I shouldnt bother with those missing 90mhz?
