Hi everyone, i am starting this thread just for a laugh. If you want to share your Crazy, Funny, and unusually stupid live support chats on here please do so cause i want to see them.
Ex: Person contacts you for live support and tries really hard to get you to sell them x ammount of space for a really cheap price.

Please don't show the users name that contacted you, replace them with *** or change the name.:evilb:

Thats great, i haven't had anything like that yet. What does it say? and does it reply to what you say to it?

Nope,

I did the typical canned response " Hello and thank your for...."

And I got " Hi, Nice site how about these: ......"

Then they left.

Also had googlebot crawl our live chat last month. Just decided it wanted to say hi haha.

I work at a web hosting tech support outsourcing company, and we do live chats for a couple companies.

I've had two chats come in where people were having problems with a MySpace script. The developer of the script has a "Hosting by ourcompany.com" at the bottom of his page... so when his script was broken, on two separate occasions, weeks apart, people came to our live support desk to ask us to fix it.

We get Google, Inktomi, and MSN bots fairly frequently - some of the hosting companies more than others.
