How to increase hosting revenue

I mange freehostrunner.com, and the average signup ratio is around 2 per day and that for the free 140 MB hosting I provide. I want to increase my signing up ratio for the free service as-well-as attract paid subscribers. Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

Ads on main site. Free hosts without any ads are worth - $xxx

They cost you $$ but give you nothing.

Start a affiliate program, to give users extra space for letting others sign up. Might do the trick.
