Hi all,

Is cpanel 11 stable for you?
cPanel 11 comes on my linuxinvent servers when it becomes stable, hopefully later this year. My staff suggest staying on cPanel 10 because 11 still has too many problems.
Do you agree?

Bye ;)

I have been offering cPanel 11 and havent had any major issues with it at the moment. Give it a try, if you run into any issues report them to cPanel they are normally pretty awesome at lending a helping hand to clients.

I've been using cPanel 11 since it became available on edge almost, and it's come a (very) long way.

I've been using it for over a month now and I can't say I've had any problems with it.

Been using it since it's in the RELEASE tree. Never had any problems with it so far.

Please don't tell me you (used to) run EDGE versions of cPanel on operational servers? That's irresponsable. I really hope you weren't one of those guys who tried to get customers by bragging "we have cPanel 11" while in fact it's unstable and should not be used.

Its honestly just not necessary to drag the negative out of every thread and utilize it to prove your own point. Im pretty sure hes well aware of the difference between the edge release and the current (because its not in the stable tree). Although this is a public forum..constant negativity from users projects a bad ora about the place..

You're right, my comment might not sound like I wanted it to. Did not mean to offend anyone, sorry if I did.

The decision was 0% irresponsible. I acted on the advice of Cybertoad, whom said all his servers were using it, and if he was using it then it was certainly good enough for me.

Very few problems which actually affect anything important, and no major problem or any downtime as a result, I must say that I do not regret the decision to go cPanel 11 at that point in time at all.

And yes, I most certainly did brag about having it. I build my host on the reputation of using the absolute latest of everything possible.

Most of the problems come with upgrading a server from cP10 to cP11 rather than with cPanel 11 in and of itself. If the server's properly configured to run cPanel 11 (ports for the Web Disk open in the firewall, etc) it should work just fine.
