Ok.

I love Golf and today I downloaded Golden Fairway.
However, when I open the application to play the game I get a blank gray screen. I hear the sound but no pics etc.
Anyone know what's going on?
I am guessing it's either a video driver or my graphics card. But need some guru advice.
Just remember people, whatever the outcome of this request, I love you all. :D

You love me? Paedofile.

Jokie!
Have you got the latest driver? And are there any technical specs on the website, which you can check?

As far as I know when I got my PC reformatted the other day the guy installed the latest sound and video drivers.
I have also checked with the site and installed the latest DirectX as well.

I'm not sure if the game is fine with any DirectX, but just in case, try installing 8.1.

Yeah it's one of the requirements and they gave a download link for the latest one on the site and I used that.
I just wanna play some Golf dude. :( I am feeling so deprived. :D

Is your card one of the ones listed? :p

Sado. Golf is a boring game.

* GeForce 5000 Series or ATI Equivalent

* Latest Video and Sound drivers

You could always try re-installing the drivers. :p

Anyway

/me is going to bed now. Going to the 1 day internationals tomorrow. (Cricket).

OpenGL is my guess Dan, old standard, does your card & driver support it or is there a config option to disable it and use another option?

Not sure man to be honest.
Where do I get this OpenGL? I did a google search and it said it is for Mac?

Edit
Downloading Geforce 8 Driver for Windows XP, which includes OpenGL.
Will let ya know if it works. :)

Nope.

Computer:
AMD Sempron (tm) 2800+

I have this PC with over 2 years and never had issues with it. Just got it reformatted a couple days ago.

Eithe ignore that bit if the drivers load okay for the gfxcard or redownload the driver it might be a corrupted download.

Ok.

Does anyone know where I can get the proper driver and what it's called?

Golden Fairway contacted me and said it was an old video driver I have so I sent them a diognostic of it. Waiting for them to get back to me now.
