Hi all,
I currently offer IRC services plus web hosting and reseller hosting but was looking towards the shoutcast market.
The money made from the other hosting branches seem to be doing fine an i would be looking to finally add shoutcast support by the end of next month.
Im in 2 minds on whether to offer shoutast as a free service but upgradeable or paid upright.
Im looking for suggestions, as far as im aware shoutcast is more resource intensive on a server plus a lot of bandwidth... but im sure it could be controlled on a free account and as customers become more successful they should finally be able to afford an upgrade.. and hopefully not decide to move away.
Id like to hear from other hosts with experience, as this is still a niche market and im wondering if anyone could give me hints.. not competing hints.. though :P
