Why would anyone swap WHMCS for iPanel?
If any host needs the auto-ad's feature, get iAdz, it's like $30 one off, and you can then use WHMCS to force the adverts.

True, but its the whole full iPanel and its a great addition to those who are generally into the free hosting business that needs the simplicity which iPanel greatly offers and easy "editably" for beginners to hosting.
In the end if up to you user, instead of spending $30 after buying your WHMCS, you can get the whole full owned license, and its covered support is always adding new additions and always updated. :)
Also iPanel handles paid hosting and their new version will handle dedicated and vps support, all-in-all iPanel combines simplicity and power and gets done what you need it to.
If anyone is interested feel free to pm, and i can verify license etc.

ipanel is good for paid hosting too. i actually have it myself. of course WHMCS is better, but, for the price, iPanel is great, and does what i need.

MCT - That is my exact point :P Why would someone that already has a WHMCS license swap it for an iPanel license? ;) WHMCS is MUCH better than iPanel, and is also much more expensive.

True, but the point is iPanel is geared for Free hosting. It comes with "post4host" feature connecting to phpbb forums or whatever forums you may run.
Second it comes with a built in "ads" feature which you can add ads immediately through headers etc.
WHMCS maybe more expensive but not 100% geared for free-hosting there are companies that go from paid to free services.
Either way hosting-shack i understand what your point is,
WHMCS more $$, more features for paid clients, integration etc.
iPanel - perfect for free hosters , has paid hosting ability, integration etc.
Both products are excellent, and its to the user What's BEST for them, not exactly whats more expensive or has a nicer logo.

Yes. But look at it this way:
It's like swapping a ps3 for an ice lolly between a 15 year old and a baby, the baby will want the ice lolly more than the PS3, and the 15 year old will want the PS3 more than the ice lolly, but the trade is hardly fair.

Ah yes i understand what you mean but a ice lolly and ps3 are completely 2 totally different products and doesn't make sense for a baby to have control over a ps3...
Now apply that sense into hosting, both products are hosting-related but one has a edge in the fact it is much more expensive and a higher-grade geared fully towards paid hosting.
Now we look at iPanel, which has the same essential functions as WHMCS but not necessarily meant for paid hosting but all towards the free hosting community which the WHMCS lacks and gives an edge in signing up free hosted clients faster whereelse WHMCS may have to add coupons or other features or what maybe.
In all I'm only saying instead of paying extra for a ad software, and a file checker (not to mention many free hosting features), iPanel has both and is GEARED towards free hosting but at the same time supports paid hosting.
Overall I'm not forcing the "baby to give me the ps3" or anyone to trade the script forcibliy but rather it is if only anyone is interested...
If anyone wants to have the fair trade, I'll be willing to trade my modernbill license.. which has more features than WHMCS and more expensive ;)
Let's not try to make this any longer, but your point is well made in that WHMCS is a far greater system but lacks the simplicity of iPanel, and its solely up to whoever that wants to trade.
