Hey guys, in a bit of a hole at the moment.
One of my clients, whose domain is registered at Tucows is trying to modify his nameservers to point to our DNS but he gets the following error when he enters our ns1 and ns2 for his domain name servers:

Error!
Unable to update nameservers: Nameserver [ns2.deisehost.com] doesn't exist at the registry

Our name servers work fine because other sites are there and they work fine. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Might work, but have you correctly reg'd them with your registrar and are you pointng the domain name (deisehost.com) to them too? If not there can be problems.

Yeah everything is set correctly and all other sites under deisehost work fine.
I created child nameservers for that client after he gave me access to his Tucows account and edited the DNS Zones to match those changes and his site works fine now.

Dan,

Try setting A records for your nameservers.

Agree with Richard, having to edit the zone file doesn't seem to be right :/
