I am looking for a very fast torrentflux server (faster upload than anything) (100mbit hopefully) with a very large bandwidth package. I will need a minimum of 150-250 gigs storage space.

I also need a company that is fairly good with tech support as I am completely new to using a server with torrentflux.

My budget is very open and I am more concerned with upload speed and bandwidth but would like to keep it somewhere in the 100$ a month neighborhood (I truly don't know if thats a fair price either way, and I'm open to saving money )

Thank you

Well with that budget you won't get anything near your requirements... at least nothing realiable.... and you don't want to get your account deleted or the server gone after you pay, do u>?

Also most don't even have unmetered bandwidth so if they don't they'll find a way to suspend your account rather than upgrade... consideing what you are paying..

I suggest you either raise your budget or lower your requirements...

Your options are - get your own dedicated, pay for a managed service and up your budget by 5 times.

Sorry but it's the truth, and that might not be enough if your going to fill 200G's of disk.

Thanks for your opinions guys! Like I said I have no idea really what the cost associated would be. But It seems I'm finding a few places with good deals, am I missing something or are they poor services?

Example, uk2.net 160gb hard drive on a 100mbit port with 10tb a month? Looks like for about 140 usd a month? That sounds reasonable

Do you want to use it to seed torrents or just to download stuff faster?

Yeah, well you will also need server management and some1 to help you around... and that will increase the cost with uk2.net to $200+...

Take care on those deals, UK2 I know (unfortunately) do sell as great and even 'BOGOF' deals, but check the details and you end up on a 128K line (or less) linked to a 100M pipe.

TF is a bit heavy on resources too so it does need a reasonable spec if it's well visited.

If you could go to $200-250 then I might be able to help out with that sort of load for a box, semi-managed too.

How many torrents do you think you'd be running at the same time? We specialize in torrent servers.

http://wewillhostit.com sells torrentflux accounts. For those that don't know what torrentflux is, it is a php bit torrent client that runs on our server. This allows you to have your torrents downloaded by our fast 100mbit/s connection for you instead of having to wait on them. Also it allows you to seed much faster than you normally would be able to. It also solves the problem of NAT's, Firewalls and routers that would stop torrent traffic from coming through because you are downloading a file off the Internet like you would any other file.

We have 3 plans $8.00 a month for 5GB of storage, 75 GB upload per month; $12.00 a month for 10GB of storage, 75 GB upload per month; $20.00 a month for 15GB of storage, 125 GB upload per month.

We offer a one week free trial (7 days). The way it works is that if you go to our order page at http://wewillhostit.com?x=3 and sign up you will sign up for a paypal reoccurring subscription. For the first 7 days no money will be taken from your account, if you choose to cancel for what ever reason before the days no money will be take. After the 7th day, if you choose to stay with us, the money will automatically removed from your account every 30days until you cancel. Because all the transits go through paypal, we never touch your money.

We offer http downloads through torrentflux, but are beta testing FTP downloads for people that want them.

WeWillHostIt also offers web hosting, IRCd hosting, Shell hosting, as well as teamspeak, icecast, and shoutcast on request. Please go to the order page and expand the package drop down to see more details on our plans. You may order right on the site or email us at admin@wewillhostit.com

As for our pirating policy, you agree not to pirate and we agree not to check.
