Darn it, I need a new keyboard..

I barely bought this Microsoft (Comfort Curve) Keyboard for a few months, and the "M" key is already spoilt. Sometimes it's totally unresponsive :x.

They can't even get keyboard's right...! And this is definitely an utter comfort to my pockets.

My previous keyboard lasted 6 years - damn it (and is 10x cheaper).

'M' for Microsoft; they're foreshadowing the downfall of Microsoft. :p

Get a new keyboard then, and make sure it's cheap and durable.

Don't blame the keyboard if you dropped food bits on it and some managed to get under the keys making the key unresponsive :p

I got a BenQ X700 keyboard and I love it. Looks decent (designed by BMW :p) and was only 25$

Weird for me the cheap keyboards were always the best. Never did like the expensive one. I bought one once that was 30 bux and it broke on me so i bought the one im usin now and it was 9.99 and its lasted me so far like 1 year.

Nothing under the keys (other than hair - but I've cleaned them out)...I got all the things out already.

And there doesn't seem to be a warranty card...wait, does Microsoft hardware come with them? Or am I just supposed to show them the receipt? But before that, how long is the warranty even? 30 days?

@ProsHosting,

The one that lasted me 6 years was from Compaq (So yes, cheap ones are better, after all).

My keyboard is cheap too. Pretty strange that the cheaper ones are better.

I have had one old clicky-loud keyboard for 7+ years. And I think I bought it used.

It's on SuperPenguin.

And my laptop's keyboard seems to be durable. going on two years and no hiccups.

I've had my keyboard for at least 5-10 years now... now a few of my keys are getting worn out(the writing on the key)

A BMW keyboard :eek3: somebodies paying you too much

I've always been in favour of the 1.99 keyboard, when it's broke it's broke, get a new one out of the boxfull you bought :-)

I've got the Saitek one. The first version of the Elipse or something.

It works pretty well.
