Why not. Where you get all the DreamScene files from though?

there might be some on here:
http://dream.wincustomize.com/

but make sure they do not have the extension .dream on it. If you don't have Vista Ultimate you can't use the .dream ones, only .mpg, etc.

Here is a link to a website with all the original DreamScene videos. Right click on the videos and hit save target as

DreamScene is only available with Windows Vista Ultimate. The link you pasted is for a third party program that works like DreamScene.

No,

it says Windows DreamScene in Vista. It's Windows DreamScene. It works with any version that has the Aero interface. So the first Version of Vista won't work with it, but Home Premium and up will work.

Ok, first here is the wikipedia article stating DreamScene is only available for Windows Vista Ultimate
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DreamScene

Also, here is a link to the Microsoft site stating DreamScene only works with Windows Vista Ultimate:

Think posted earlier (http://dream.wincustomize.com/) is not for DreamScene, it is for some program called DreamScapes.

I didn't say THAT was the program I used. DreamScape is different I know... but DreamScene DOES work for Home Premium and Business regardless what Microsoft and Wiki says.

It works through a hack, duh. It wasn't intentionally made for it. What is dream scene?

What is dream scene?

basically it's using a looped movie file as a desktop background.

Which eats up 200MB ram, And annoys you after a while :D

Yeah, I have premium, I did the hack to get it working... and after my ram and cpu went up, I started getting annoyed. Its a good idea, but I'd only recommend it if you have a good video card (not onboard)

I had it on my desktop and it didn't increase anything noticeably. cpu still hovers at about 2% usage the majority of the time and ram behaves as normal.
