php Gallery that can be easily embedded

Hi all, any suggestions on a nice simple gallery script I can embed in a page (html) that allows say verticle listing with a description then click to open in a new page the full description with extra image thumbnails, etc.
Been trying a few and they just don't quite do it for me, TIA.

are we talking a gallery script, or are we talking a fancy image display script ??
in other words are you wanting to display/manage an unknown amount of images, or are you wanting to display a few ( still variable ) images in a specific way ??

I always find it too hard to look for something after I have thought of what I want, it would seem that two humans very rarely have exactly the same thought .....

Have you tried Plogger? http://www.plogger.org/
From what I can see, it seems to do the trick for your needs.

Needs to be sort of table layout, one pic to the left, text to the right for each entry say 5-10 per page. Click the image and a new page opens with the choice of up to 6 pics on the left and a fuller desription on the right - that any clearer Joe? (probably not :D)

I'll give Plogger a go sep, looks good.
