Hi, I'm looking to register a domain name soon, but I'm concerned over privacy issues so I wish to find a cheap domain register who does not submit/show my information on whois. Are there reliable ones? Preferably a UK based company who does .com names, where I can get full control over the domain.

Also I have been looking at how to submit a domain to search engines some sites that have come up have been:

http://freewebsubmission.com/
http://www.submitexpress.com/
http://info.vilesilencer.com/

Anyone had any experience with these? Is there another way to submit a domain to a search engine?

Thanx in advance
L3af.

Your information will always be submitted to WHOIS, it's required. What you can do though, is pick a registrar that offers a Private Registration. You still need to give accurate contact info, etc, but they will use a proxy to display it in the WHOIS, so no personal information is seen by the public.

Yeah I gathered... I registerd a domain name with http://www.namecheap.com
VERY QUICK - my domain was available within 5 mins.
All I need now is guidance on how to submit to search engines.
