Welcome everyone to the rebirth of JotHost.com

JotHost is proud to announce that we are now on professional servers running cPanel 11, and this is your chance to get GREAT paid hosting for free!

Welcome to JotHost.com - the Free cPanel Post to Host Community and Webmaster Discussion Forum
What is JotHost.com?JotHost.com is a fully free post to host webmaster and general purpose discussion forum. We ask you to take a few minutes each week and spend some time here posting and talking with other members, and in return we will remunerate you with hosting packages. We offer both shared and reseller hosting packages.

Shared is a standard web hosting account, where you are able to host your website and domains in a single control panel: cPanel.

Reseller hosting is a service in which you get an extra control panel, WHM, which you can use to create multiple hosting packages and distribute "shared" hosting to others. You could even start up a mini web hosting business. What are the JotHost plans? The JotHost plans range widely in amount. All of our plans are distributed in a 1:10 storage:bandwidth ratio.

Why should I be hosted with JotHost?First of all, it's totally free. We will never, ever ask you for your PayPal email, eGold ID, credit card number, or billing address. You can even keep your identity secret. We will never charge you a cent for our services; the only revenue we make is from ad clicks on our homepage and forums. All such profits go directly towards footing the server bills.

We run top-of-the-line servers with Dual Xeon processors, 2 GB RAM, and a dedicated 100 Mbps line. All of our servers use the secure linux operating system CentOS.

We don't guarantee 100% uptime because we need to restart the server every once in a while, however, you can view our uptime status here:

What are the JotHost Terms of Service? We are a 100% free service. We would appreciate it if you would not abuse our servers by running DDoS attacks or any malicious server scripts. We monitor all server and CPU usage, so please try to stay along the guidelines of a standard site.

Most PHP functions are enabled, and all the major CMS's work. If something is disabled, then there is a reason for it.

Please do not host any illegal content or nulled scripts on your sites. We do not go through your sites on a regular basis for privacy reasons, however, if you abuse this privilege and are reported, your account will be deleted, your data will be lost, your IP will be banned from the JotHost site as well as affiliate sites.

Any sites featuring proxies or adult sites will require admin approval, and they will only be allowed on the reseller plans. Please notify an admin first to be verified.

We adhere to a strong code of ethics. We will respect your privacy, and we strongly recommend that you take backups of your site on a regular basis.

What do you mean by "professional servers"? How does a server become proffesional? Also wasnt you the host that just lost all its data?

Hi pader.

Numerous members were complaining about not being able to access the server on the old server, so we were forced to transfer servers in order to better satisfy our customers.

We compensated all of our old members with special 2 GB space / 20 GB bandwidth hosting accounts.

We also run a dual paid hosting service, but we thought that it would be nice to give free hosting plans to online users. Our servers are fully professional and not the normal free hosting servers in that we allow several advanced features such as remote MySQL connections and socketing as well as secure shell (SSH) access.

dun get it y didnt u just fix the server??? because ppl cnt login u changed server? lol.. and u didnt answer my question how does a server become "professional"? and whatis a normal free hosting server? do u know wat ur talkin bout? also cpanel gives u secure shell ssh access by default its called jailshell.. u cant give a user ssh access secure because its unsafe for u as the admin.. alec p i dont think u know wat ur talkin bout. professional servers..secure shell (ssh) access..moved to a whole new server because logins didnt work..dual paid hosting service.. what does this all mean?

i might sign up but if ur gonna be an admin and host my site u got to kno wat ur takin bout first. care 2 explain??
