That's what I'm wondering! I'm looking for a webhost to host my own personal website with legal adult contents but not adult oriented so I thought maybe you guys could help me out.
Before anything, is HostGator and UnlimitedMB reliable and worth it for personal hosting? I've seen the Shared/VPS on HostGator and the packages on UnlimitedMB and they seems nice.
So what do you guys could tell me about HostGator and UnlimitedMB? Or what other hosts would you recommend me?

You can check out the hosting offers for hosts that allow adult content.

Yes, but where?
Besides, it's not an adult-oriented site but a personal site. But I would be having a special section for webmasters resources and site reviews.

What's your budget?

What's your budget?
For the first year of hosting, $200 max. Second year depends on the revenue I will be making out of the advertisements and other refferral programs.

To put it simply, it's just my own personal website where I would be publishing my creations such as wallpapers, poetry and do reviews, etc... On another hand, I would be gathering resources for adult webmasters.

Yes. All contents are provided from sponsors and licensed to me.

HostGator has thousands of happy clients, so they must be doing something right over the years. I don't recall reading much on UnlimitedMB (if any).

Well we all know HostGator sucks.
the problem with the other site you listed is that they put "free" accounts on the same server as the paid acounts. that within itself is just a bad idea since most abusing clients are of the "free" type.

I guess in that case that being a customer directly with them must be a good thing.
UnlimitedMB seems new according to their website.

Not sure where you got that info from, but it is incorrect. We host our free clients on servers in a completely different DC as well as servers. I am not begging for any clients, but please clarify before you post. We have many clients who upgrade to paid accounts and we suggest they move, but many are happy where they are at.
Thanks

Hostagtor.com good company to consider.
Also I'd recomend you have a look at Site5.com, A2Hosting.com. They are good.
I want to say that you shouldn't consider overselling offers. You won't get what you pay for. And you might lose your money.
