Look here to see what Kwix has to deal with :(

http://kwix-host.com/index.php?showtopic=4911&st=0

And read through you can see shoutserv is trying other various scams as well.

http://www.-------------------/ is shoutserv, and they are a scam. But if you are stupid enough to sign up for them, you obviously do not need your money.

I think it's just ShoutServ, Under a different name, They are hosted on the Same IP's as ShoutServ's main server...

Yeah, it looks like that to me aswell. The site is very similar, and the fact that it launched just after shoutserv went down makes it look like that

Hasn't anyone wondered how shoutserv accepted one time payments? If people payed once, and never did so again, shoutserv would be bankrupt in a few years (or maybe even less)

Its got scam written all over it

If you are thinking of joining them, read this:
http://www.-------------------/order/viewticket.php?tid=294558&c=F9RWmHuA How good do you really think they will be when their admin sounds so stupid?

They have a LOT of downtime. They are up about 10% of the time. They completely screwed over KwiX-Host.

As a reader of kwix-host forums - i have faith that this will only make kwix-host stronger and a better provider in the long run.

You will get tons of people who put hits on your business, it's something you have to budget for. It's part of running a business. Obviously Kwix-Host is prepared for this, as they are still being responsive on the whole issue.

It's shoutserv under a different name 100%. Personally, I wouldn't recommened to be hosted by them. We was placed on a server which was a VPS Server, that meant slow loading times and maintaining 30+ loads. They weren't managed well at all.

We did have staff across there who had root access to the server. It wasn't that bad overall till the loss of data.

Check this ticket out, another one that just shows how incompetent shoutserv (i refuse to call them by a different name) are:

Doesn't it just speak wonders about their staff, and this virus guy whos a staff member

its obvious why they shut down when you think about it
their server ran out of space or bandwidth so they started afresh to make more money

Their moron admin actually gave me his root cuz we had an argument on DP and he just wanted to prove me wrong:eek3:

He just told me "you will be closely monitored" Oh yeah.. while i could've deleted everything. He was such an idiot that he actually needed to give me the login to the server to check the server specs when he could've just created a reseller...:knockedou

That was about 2 mths ago.... looked thru the server and ssh to find out that the idiot admin didn't even know bash commands and that the server was configured like a horny gofer on a rainy day:lol:

His msn is ash.warrington@tesco.net
If you ask him for a refund or why shoutserv is down, he'll just say that it was unplugged due to abuse.
