DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM http://www.maxdedicated.com/
They are criminals. They stole $303 from me. I ordered one of their products and I never got anything from them. When I chat with them online, the moment they find out that I have they become silent and don't respond back. It seems like the whole website is a scam!
Any suggestions on how I can take them to the court?

Sorry to here that you are having problems with the server , yes its indeed an unmanaged server so there will be no help with regards to sites and software unless its related to OS or the control panel.

And we will not be able to refund for any dedicated server , its clearly states on our refund policy located here http://maxdedicated.com/policies.html#policy

Thank you,

Request Dispute/Refund :: OrderNo - 4549

I do not know what your connection is to MaxDedicated. But we purchased a dedicated server.. We never had a working server and the customer support was horrible. I could sent you all of the chats I had with Maxdedicated if you wish. They would not even allow me to call them for a telephone conversation. I have lost a lot of money because we could not get the server up because of issues maxdedicated was having. They even told us that they could do nothing because the site was not a managed site when their website clearly states that it is a managed site. I Could go on and on about the problems with customer support, the lies that were told and the horrible server, (again, I can send you the chats if you want.) But I would like to request a refund since I never was able to use the server. I also want to make sure that you do not charge me again since I will NOT be paying for another month. I switched servers and was up and running in 4 hours, (as opposed to 1 month) and they even called me on the phone to see if I had any questions or problems with the setup.. We didn't need any help since the server was actually functional, but it was nice to have the customer service. Please address this issue as soon as possible. Thank you.. -Steven Hawkins

And you always give away full names and emails of clients on public internet forums?
Id never consider someone that would post my email and full name on a pulbic internet forums just to defend themselves..

Dedicated Servers Unmetered Unlimited Bandwidth Managed Servers Windows Linux Cpanel WHM PLESK FreeBSD Fedora core SQL Email
You put keywords "managed" on your site giving of the impression all servers are managed... It isnt very clear and no where does it state your servers are unmanaged in the policy.

"Basic Managment"

In one place it is this

Proactive Monitoring
Proactive Support
Unlimited Reboots
IP Ping Monitoring
Trouble Shooting/Security Update
Full Control
Kernel Updates

Next its this

Proactive Monitoring
Unlimited Reboots
IP Ping Monitoring
Security Update
Full Control
Kernel Updates
So what is it?

Your site is rather missleading In many ways...

Sooooooo Since all servers have "basic managment" marked on them you cant say this

unless its related to OS or the control panel.
Where does it say that?

I have to agree with internalx on this one ;)

MaxDedicated are in the wrong, all their servers have "basic management" which in their terms state: "Proactive Support" and "Trouble Shooting".

The client should be refunded as that was not provided. The client should have had an attitued - You did not give them what you offerd

Thank you.

"Bad mistake" that dont cut it IMO, As it was a bad mistake your client brought a server from you, When his bad mistake was made you didnt just accept it as a "bad mistake" :)
I do have ScreenShots and Am quite willing to supply them.

Im pretty sure the laws are with the OP on this one, after your "bad mistake"..

I only edited my post for the OP.. I didnt do it for you.

Maxdedicated,

You edited your post but you unfortunately did not edit the grammatical errors that appear in the email you sent this client. It isn't "sorry to here".. It is "sorry to HEAR". (I'm sure you know that since you must be past high school).

Also whether it is an error or not you just made a big mistake and I suggest you stop digging a bigger hole for yourself and your company.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I couldn't find maxdedicated as a legally registered business in the state of Delaware. Are you legally registered? If so, what is your legal company name. If not, the IRS will be happy to hear about you.

InternalX doesn't have to edit his post. You did by law. He has the right to express his opinions pertaining your error and you shouldn't try make him edit a post that makes your mistake(s) look bad.

If I didnt care how the OP felt about having his details on a forum I wouldnt of edited my post, I do have screenhosts of it all however... And If I have the details how many others have them? :)
