My inexperience in winter driving + my car + the electrical pole + oversized tires = http://www.lewisoft.net/car

Heres what happened:
I turned too late so I over corrected . Then I slammed on the brakes. I spun out and remember slamming into the pole. To be honest..

I need money for a new used car.
Wanna help. You can advertise on FreeResellers.com (see this thread: http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2199773) FreeResellers.com's hosting is paid for for an entire year (your ads won't go anywhere). I spent my savings on paying for it..

I am so glad I am not dead.

Update: Found a big --- bump on my head.

Do you guys have some sort of "Advanced" driving license over in the US? Because I can tell you - We do in England, and it deals with handling a car in these situations.

I hold an advanced driving license, and the training I got really has helped me out in the last few winters, as I live in an area that does not get treated (Black Ice everywhere).

Nope we sure dont, we normally have to go through driving school (private) for extra training in this area.

Good luck with your car, hope you raise the funds to get another one soon :)

If there is somewhere in Spokane, WA that does winter driving training for under $100, I'd go, but I am new to Spokane (to the snow in general) and don't know where to go. My parents are not from the snow either. We are from southern California... So, you get the picture.

Guess that was very recent then? Sorry to hear about it - car accidents are not fun!

Is the car repairable?

I don't know - I was in a pretty bad accident once, and they (the insurance co.) actually chose to repair one of the cars anyway. Of course, it was because the car was newer, and though the damage was bad, the cost to repair still did not exceed 3/4 of the value of the car.

Wow, that was fast! And that's a good price, too. :) Around here, it's near impossible to find a car for that little.

We get our winters (Or at least snow) in like April :P (Okay, maybe not that late, but you get the point)

And for the last 3 years, it has been quite bad down here in the South East.

No, a 1993 Isuzu Trooper. It has 1/4 a million miles on it. The car wasn't $900. It was $1800, but I had $700 saved.

You will also be able to get some money for the front of your old car

No, they won't repair it. The independent rear suspension is shot, and the car is too old.

They'll total it, and hopefully you have full coverage, and owe less than the car is worth, if anything.

Emergency vehicles are actually one of the worst to buy. I looked at a Police Cruiser, but turned it down because they are beaten and battered, badly. Stop, go, stop, go... High speed... The motor and suspension are usually pretty well gone when they get retired.
