not bad, but, i dont think you should use white text int he package boxes. makes it hard to read.

Nicely done John.
I agree with MCT with the text in the boxes. Maybe black text or the color of the header image would be good.

use the burnt orange color that is in the bottom of the header for the font color. i think that would look sharp there.

keep the text orange, and the Title white. for the white title, put a 1 px drop shadow on the title, and you shall have your winner IMO.

I actually prefer the black text more, but that's just my personal opinion. The orange one is good too.

Im gonna break with the trend here and say I prefer the black text :p.
its got awesome potential as a layout ! :) .
My only comment is, although I realise you are probably tryin to keep this uncluttered, are you going to have a navigation area ? a cloumn of buttons or something ? and if so where ?

I think white titles seems to be agreed on, I think I'm going to go with orange.
mct - thanks for the suggestion, but I wasn't too sure about it:S
AMC: thanks, I'd forgotten about that.

The updated version looks great. :) I'd have gone with the black text but that's just me. Orange is a good choice too. ;)

Never nice:D
The only thing i dont like is the folding page.. Try redoing that maybe..
The brown tones look great, give it a groovy feeling:D
I also really like the background and the text! Can you send me that font?
I give it 5 out of 6 pirates..
