Sad news of course for all enthusiast customers of Deftechgroup sharing hosting but it is true.
Since 15 february power360hosting will officialy close the doors for their own customers on shared hosting with explanation it is not the direction they want to take the company in and it's just not worthwhile to try to compete in a market that is so overly saturated.
However not any other company comes in my opinion come close to qua network, server specification, hosting packet and price.
So far i know it was only company who does not put any limit on their shared servers regarding MySql max_user_value. It was set on 0.
By all others "big guys" is between 20 - 25.

Looks to me like they just do Shared Hosting:

PowerVPS looks like it is still in the game:

Of course that powervps isn't going anywhere.
Deftechgroup has started 7-9 month a go with shared hosting = Power360Hosting.com!
And you probably know that if Deftechgroup start with something then it must be excellent. And it is of course.
I have still site hosted by power360hosting and site that handle about 7000 - 8000 visits daily open within 0-2s
What i would like to know people here is that they are great, it is their decision to stop with shared hosting (''it is not the direction they want to take the company in and it's just not worthwhile to try to compete in a market that is so overly saturated.'') but it is still very hard for customers who believed in Power360Hosting.com and supported it and then all problems with migrate of sites to somewhere else.

What makes you think they're closing? I've had a look on their site and forums and the only person saying they're closing, is you.

Says this on the home page:

No longer accepting orders!

We are not accepting new orders at this time, please do NOT place a domain or hosting package order, as your order will not be processed.

I don't see a date there.. Nor does it say they are closing. Maybe they maxed our there server.. and do not want to place anyone else on it - until they upgrade.

I am only guessing here :)

Thanks,
Adam

Ok why don't they just disable new orders then? would be easier than saying dont make new orders. Could have just said NO NEW ORDERS ARE BEING ACCEPTED.

Never heard of em. Are they that bad?

It is best hosting that have experienced and they are probably better known as guys behind powervps.com or better known as Defender Hosting Groups.
Ask around and you will hear everything good about them with excellent servers, network/datacenter (google neighbors).
For some strange reason they decided to stop with shared hosting.

I have heard only very good words about them. They are actually a separate wing of powervps which is very good for VPS.
I have heard that they started shared host in last year and for some reason they are stopping it. Not sure why.
