Hi I have a site:
http://www.livepointsfirst.co.uk
And basically I'm looking for feedback. Constructive feedback, not just its crap but its crap because....!
Colour scheme I think needs some attention and some have said that its too spacey etc but not sure how to fix.
Whats you think of the logo too? Made it today... It looks better on its own without the rest of the page!
Thanks,
Mike

I think you should make the main table bigger. As for the logo, it just looks plain.. text over a background, nothing fancy about it. Try adding drop shadow, and gradient to it.

Logo now has shadow & gradient, but the gradient makes it look a bit funny, I tried with some stronger gradients etc but all made it look worse...
The main table does need to be made bigger, I agree: although I have no content to put in!
Thanks for the advice, I'll find somethig to make the table bigger I'm sure...

Well, it has somewhat changed...
Could someone tell me if it works on IE 7+
I run Fedora so cant tell (I know there are problems with IE 6)
Also, I'm still looking for criticism!! (Besides the occasional misplaced </DIV> tag...)

Wow I'm enjoying today. The design is extremely bland, boring and totally unexciting in any conceivable length. Get something flashy, stylish and you may just attract more people.
Thanks,
Adz
PS: you asked for criticism, so its above :)

Thanks very much!
To be honest, the design isn't meant to be flashy - other similar site, or indeed most successful e commerce sites are not all that flashy!
As it is, the curvy corners are pushing my style boundaries to the limit!!
Not sure how serious you were being, but I'll think about it. Diminishing returns though, the more time I spend on it now, the less better it will be getting per hour of time spent on it.
Any slightly more constructive crit?
Edit: adzp.co.uk is hardly flashy, half the links are broken!

The reason links are broken is because I've put it on hold, people do have personal lives......

Orite mate I was only saying! I've got a social life too, and (probably like yourself) have A-Levels, hence why I didn't take your advice for a flashy website too seriuosly - i don't have the time (well, I do, I just can't be bothered!)
A heads-up too, on your index page you "Adam Parton" image thing goes into your "contact" link a bit in Firefox, which I assume its not meant to as it doesn't do that in IE.

^Only just noticed that, thanks for that. Anyway, scrapping that design soon, only temp to be honest, hence why it ain't completed at all.

Is there anything to be gained by making
the page divisions horozontal?
It feels .. It feels like .. Is anyone else
unnatural . a user's .. getting a
to have .. resolution .. case of
to read .. is being .... internet
2 words .. punished. .. claustrophobia?
at once.
