Hey there. I've been working on my site for some time but due to other commitments I haven't got it all online as such yet, with half of it still waiting to be created.

If you could please give me some hints on how to improve it and also any comments/suggestions you have.

Damn! I ain't been validating it :( I did before on the 1st upload and it was valid but now it ain't :(

Put up some placeholder links on the front page.

404 pages leave a bad impression on me. Carve out one day to show that you proofed out the site and are aware that sections aren't prepared. If you are totally out of time, use a single copy of "This section is not ready yet. The available sections are ____ and ____ and ____ ". (With working links).

If you feel brave, post individual placeholder links with at least a paragraph of an info-nugget, to reward the visitor for having clicked at all instead of leaving the site.
