I need a host with unlimited space and CGI or ASP. But it must be fast and free, too. Is there anyone ?

I'm sorry, but "unlimited" does not go with "fast". Besides, there really isn't a thing that's "unlimited"... there's always a limit, just that rarely anybody reaches the limit, so it just appears to be "unlimited".
Example: You have 300GB possible disk space, but you only have a 5MB site. So, you can keep on expanding "limitlessly". But remember, there's always a limit - just that you won't likely ever reach 300GB, so it would appear as though it really is "unlimited".
So there's your definition for the word "unlimited" in the cyber world. Ain't such a thing. Don't exist.
You should take a look at older threads, we get people asking for this impossible thing nearly everyday.

Here are some, not unlimited space though.
http://www.portland.co.uk - 15mb (very variable in speed)
http://www.f2s.com - 20mb
http://www.datablocks.net - 20mb

none of those fit in what boeing757330 asked for. I would recomment http://www.spaceports.com; that's closest you'll come to. They don't support asp, but they do support cgi and have unlimited space.

You cannot get truely unlimited space though.
Spaceports never crossed my mind, good suggestion.

Spaceports is probably not a good selection. Their CGI server only has 20MBs and CANNOT be upgraded. Not to mention there's a 1,000 file limit on the CGI server. SP is a great FWP but their PHP/mySQL/CGI/SSI support is lacking.

Do spaceports still put popups on their web pages?

Spaceports lets you have user placable banners as long as they are "above the fold." Another host you may be interested in is http://www.netcabins.com which has all those features and offers up to 60 megs of space.

well, asp is for NT hosts only so that is a problem

Not to mention they've fallen victim of the big ".com crash." I wouldn't host on an FWP that makes you force your visitors to actually click on their banners - Spaceports requires at least 100 click throughs a month or something.

There's a program for *NIX machines called Chilli!Soft ASP. So, no, ASP isn't only for NT machines.

Cracker, you might want to investigate things before you speak about them:
From January Spaceports Newsletter
* All sites with banners must have a 0.25% CTR or greater.
Your site must average at least one banner click for every 400 banners
displayed.
One banner click per 400 visitors is nothing. Click the thing yourself or have a friend click it. No big deal.

Wasn't http://www.spaceports.com losing close to $32,000 a month for a while last year?

Ha ha, loophole in the system! And everyone is happy! Spaceports gets to stay in business, their members don't have to pack up their bags and leave, and the website owner can click as little as an estimated once every four days and still keep his/her site hosted there.
