Does anybody know what is "child name server" and what is its function(s)?
I found this term in my domain's administration page. I've read the help, but i still don't understand.
Thanks.
btw, i know it's too late, but merry christmas!

It should be in the domain discussion then, not programming help.
It means the nameservers that you make with that domain.
ns.domain.com is a child nameserver of domain.com
