View Full Version : Good home needed for hosting clients.

As the title says, I need a good reliable 'established' host to look after some shared & reseller clients now I'm officially medically knackered.

I no longer have the energy required, mental and physical, and I've been told the reason why and to stop it now, so for once in my life I'm going to listen.

Okay the bits your interested in, it's basically a liquidation of web-spot.co.uk shared and reseller (not many), all the dedicateds were managed business customers and I have them sorted.

What's there (subject to change as the clients have only just been notified - due to the fact I was out of it);

Paid Reseller Clients - 1
Free Reseller Clients - 1
Paid Shared Clients - 5
Free Shared Clients - 6

Nicely balanced eh :-)

There are also domain names;
ctrl-alt-deli.co.uk
vpseasy.com
vpseasy.net

Not much else to say about it really, if your interested please post or e-mail and I can send the details, figures, etc.

Then it's just up to you to make your offer on keeping them at least as sane as they are at the moment :classic2:

EXTRA INFO - this has to be completed by the 5th January for live transfer or backup restores after that, then up to you to contact the clients with new account details.
Also I'll be looking around for a VPS for a couple of my accounts on the shared box that I need to move, so if you want to factor that in give it a go.

Best Regards
Rickie

I can make homes for the shared clients, both paying and free, however unfortunately I cannot give the reseller clients anything. I am running on a reseller and have quite an active community. I have currently gained 7 clients in total and have the necessary resources to sustain the 6 or all 12 of your shared clients.

I am sure we can negotiate things in more detail, as well as with your own clients. Please get back to me if you are interested.

Rickie,

I am willing to take the clients off your hands but I cannot offer you anything payment wise to do so. The most I can really say is that I would provide a good home for them and make the switch as smooth as possible.
As for the VPS you need you can check out my VPS plans and see if they are in your price range: http://crissic.com/vps.html

Let me know!

Got it Mark, replied, thanks.

Daisil no offence is meant by this but I did specify established (and made it bold too) your hosting domain is only registered 1 month and 17 days, sorry. Thanks for replying though.

Thanks Jordan I'll keep you in mind :)

We switched domains a bit but the company is in total about 60 days old (the domain started as ayrshirehosting.com, went to crissicsolutions.com, then to Crissic.com)

The uptime is here: http://webhostingstuff.com/uptime/CrissicSolutions.html

Not exactly showing that you're stable by switching domains 3 times.

It was an issue with trying to get the domain name but you do have a good point there.
besides the domain switches happened within the first month or so. I had CrissicSolutions.com due to the fact that ESTDomains which is where Crissic is registered decided to lock down the account (as soon as the 3 months is up I am switching the domain to my registrar)

Since I know I am out of the question for the clients best of luck to whomever gets them.

Well, two months is still not very long. I assume Decker meant something more than a year, with a decent reputation.

Pretty much and I know domain reg dates mean not a lot.

There is a good offer on the table at the moment for the clients with a trusted host.

So I'll give it till 7:00pm GMT (work it out for yourselves ;p) rather than drag it out over days.

Thanks all :)

I'm trustworthy lmao =D I know I am new and my reputation is very small if non existant but I think it would prove good if I was given the shot. If for some reason I screw up I would be willing to find them a new host and pay for the first 2 months of it (saying if I was actually going to disappear or something)

Do you have some more specific information on client breakdown and income?

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 13:30
Again thank you for the offer, but I would like to relax in the knowledge that was not going to happen at all :)

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 13:30
I don't care about the income I'll still host them if they are free clients with no posting or advertisements.

@Decker, I've sent you a PM.

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 13:32
PM'd James :)

Thanks Schmarvin, got your pm but remember these are paid as well as free clients.

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 13:36
I know they are paid clients. I can deal with them with the best support, same as I do with free. Everyone is treated fairly. Besides, I could use a little income. Lol, Glacier Host is barely paying for itself with the ads and traffic it gets.

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 13:43
Hm, Dan is most likely getting the clients. Everyone trusts him.

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 13:45
Got it Dan :)

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 13:46
Decker, you might just want to send your clients to Dan. :) He has reputation, experience, and current clients that will help your clients blend in.

I recommend that idea.

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 13:56
As expected - last minute frenzy, all hosts I trust Schmarvin :)

I said till 7:00pm GMT above I'll extend that till 8:00pm GMT as it's taking me longer to reply to the messages now to be fairer - but that's the cut off :)

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 14:00
But, isn't his the fully established host?

xD All I do is put people first, and thats almost made me bankrupt before, lol!
Dan has the paid clients to help pay for his servers.

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 14:02
All I do is put people first, and thats almost made me bankrupt before, lol!

It's damn near killed me, so I win

And you don't know who else is bidding ;)

Its not my business to know who is bidding on such things. And I wish you the best of luck with your health.

Thanks Schmarvin :)

40 minutes to go then I can get a rest !

We have a current high of $165, for clients, domains and template.

For those that missed the template - http://www.web-spot.co.uk/newspot/ but without the changes made so far (or with if desired), full coded set of files and PSD's.

Dan
December 27th, 2007, 14:38
Decker, I received your last PM. You may want to consider the deal I offered for the paid clients.

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 14:42
I'm considering all the offers Dan.
The one mentioned is the best so far in full proposal.

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 14:44
I hope you rest well, and don't you get sick on me! You'd better get better!

Dan
December 27th, 2007, 14:47
No problem Decker. Drop me a PM if you decide to take the offer.

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 14:48
Thanks both of you :)

10 mins to go :)

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 14:50
Good thing I didn't enter the bid, I would've lost.

December 27th, 2007, 15:06
I'd be interested in the template if the winning bidder doesn't want it

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 15:09
It appears we have a winner :D

They can announce themselvs and I'll confirm if they wish too :)

Sorry Colin I think they want it :(

Thanks to everyone who responded, all good hosts that I would recommend.

Schmarvin
December 27th, 2007, 15:29
Hope everyone has a great time and Decker, you'd better get better! I'm watching you with both of my eyes.

Decker
December 27th, 2007, 15:42
LOL, now got to go and wrap it all up :)

I'll do my best Schmarvin :D

James
December 27th, 2007, 16:34
I can confirm the takeover, now working with decker to "wrap it all up".

All clients will receive an email soon. If any client is reading, do ask any questions you may have via PM and I will be happy to provide personal assistance.

Skylar
December 27th, 2007, 16:37

Decker

I've just read this now, it's a shame to see you selling your hosting company but I do hope you get a lot better soon, with more time to yourself too. :P Congrats on the takeover James. :)
