Reasonable hosting plan?

Hi all,

I would ask the ones who are searching for a hosting company or the expert ones who work on this field before, what's your expectance from a hosting company, what kind of plan(s) would satisfy your needs, please give your ideas about following features:


Amount of Webspace
Amount of Monthly bandwith
Number of mysql databases
Fantastico
Special Control panel (Like cPanel of Ensim etc)

I would say everything -from the way support is functioning to the features and the money you want to pay.
You will not buy a car just because it has pretty tires but the engine is missing or not working well?!
Web hosting is a service as all others - you are looking for something that will never cause you troubles or at least not regularly and need to be completely maintained.

Well, I really didn't want to import the effect of price, just wanted to get ideas about a sufficient/suitable webhosting plan for majority of common customres :)

There are thousands of web hosting companies. And they are like others ones. If I were you I'd do something unusual, like grab your package yourself etc.
New and fresh ideas will drive more attantion to your company

Disk space or bandwidth or number of mysql databases are teh actual requirements for which you will be looking. These factors remains unchanged. If your site needs 1 GB of disk space, 10 GB bandwidth and 4 Mysql databases, you will need those with any host you chose. You cannot change your requirements.
But you will have to take care of many other factors before you sign up with a host like
Reliability.
Nature of Customer Support
Response times
Quality of service.
etc
