It's solid black with a few white boxes. If your new at this sort of thing, it's ok for a first, check some tuts :)

Its OK I wouldn't use it for anything business like, only personal testing and such. I'd check out some tutorials etc.

I don't think it looks that bad - after all, it's for a band, duh! :D It looks to be very easy to navigate, and the layout is nice and clean. I can't necessarily say it's a bad thing.

Too plain for my taste - but I understand what you mean by saying you suck at designing. I am similar to you in this aspect and my layouts normally end up too boring and plain.
